Why Research is Worth YOUR Attention

Your participation will assist us to address racial and ethnic disparities and to create health equities in our communities.

How to get involved

Volunteer to Participate in Research

Explore potential opportunities to participate in health research studies at the UMass Chan Medical School’s Conquering Diseases program.

Attend a Science Café

Science Cafés are live events that take place in casual settings, are open to everyone from the community, and feature an engaging conversation with researchers about a particular topic.

Science Cafés welcome people who may or may not typically get involved with scientific discussions. They are not exclusive to researchers.

Community Organizations

The SPRC wants to work with community organizations to explore ways in which their work is connected to health research and health outcomes. Click on the button below to explore our Resources for Community Organizations page.
